Help Out
If you want to help out you can contribute to The Baker's Archive or help support me directly.
If you have, or know of, a recipe, feel free to share it and it can be added to the archive. It doesn't just need to be bread, all baked goods are accepted in. Each recipe has a few things it needs so that it can be entered. This includes:
- Name
- Author
- Source
- Ingredients
- Category (Optional)
- Tags (Optional)
- Bread Type (Only for bread related recipes)
- Recipe
- Notes (Optional)
- Media (Optional)
These recipes dont have to be any thing super prestigious or anything, if you have your own, or a family recipe that you'd like added, that is perfectly acceptable with having you as the source. While some fields are optional, including them would be a great help in getting visible on the archive, as well as to help others understand it.
If instead you would just like the site to include certain recipes you can also just request for them to be added. I will use these as a starting point when I add recipes every so often, If you have specific recipes you have in mind, or types of baked good, ingredients, etc., that would be a great help, but you are free to be as simple or detailed as you wish.
The Baker's Archive is built up from custom Odoo modules developed by me as part of Toasty Software. This is done with a mix of open source repositories that can be contributed towards on their GitHub, as well as some proprietary modules that can be licensed and purchased through Toasty Software or through the Odoo App Store.
Proprietary modules will have little to no effect on overall development of the archive and serve only as a way to offer it as a full service within Odoo.
Support me directly by donating, one of these days i'll finally get the bread.co.uk domain. This is entirely optional and you can still make use of the majority of things that I make completely for free. If you would like to, head to following link

A Little About Me
I'm Austin, a UK-based software developer and student who spends far too much time thinking about bread. This site started as a way for me to share whatever I've been up to, and is now a home of a collection of bread recipes with some custom apps to help create a true archive of bread and baker's knowledge.
I build software, mostly in Python, C/C++, and web technologies, and I run this platform as a mix of personal archive and experimental lab. If something looks slightly unconventional here, it probably is, that's intentional.
Expect recipes, tools, odd experiments, and a lot of flour-related thinking.
